Leadership Illinois is a not-for-profit, women's professional development organization, that got its start in 1988, for the purpose of fostering the personal, economic, political and professional development of women in leadership roles throughout the state of Illinois. Our mission is to educate, energize and connect women from across the state and various industries, to give them a platform for making positive change in their lives, their communities and workplaces.We offer a series of three educational conferences each year for a selected class of about 30 accomplished women from across the state. Once completed, the class joins a powerful network of distinguished alumni who enjoy opportunities for continued education and online resources that strengthen connections, energize, and inspire change. Over 600 women have completed our program offerings and continue to receive professional and personal development opportunities from their affiliation with Leadership Illinois.
