LIFT(Leadership Initiative For Transformation), is a student-to-student initiative whose objective is to stimulate the biggest (and currently latent) strength of an emerging nation, i.e. its youth. It aims to create a community of young ethical leaders in college who work together to improve the state of the world. The intent is to broaden the youth's mind-sets which are the engines of future growth and peaceful living as well as to unite students separated by college boundaries but connected by forward-looking ideas. A stone thrown into the water goes on to create ripples. LIFT SRCC is believed to be a platform which can provide the same analogous effect.
