Leading Women's Health Foundation Details
Leading Women's Health Foundation is a nonprofit foundation based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are focused on promoting and supporting women's health through education, advocacy, and service delivery. Leading Women's Health Foundation was created when our founder, Dr. Amarachi Ijeoma, was in search of a dedicated and educative channel to tackle the medical concerns of women and provide guided information on women's health. Her journey took her from series of volunteer projects to specialized practice where she was further exposed to the in-depth struggles, stigma, and ignorance surrounding female health including those related to fertility. This became the turning point that led first to the creation of a YouTube channel geared towards challenging one myth at a time, while also providing much needed educative content on women's health and now the foundation to further increase the target scope, raise awareness and empower the everyday woman by promoting the importance of their well-being. The Leading Women's Health Foundation was founded in 2021 and we anticipate rapid growth in our community, robust educative information, and generous sponsors who will support our cause. We are always looking for volunteers who are passionate about health education to help us strive for change.At LWH Foundation, we are a tight-knit team right here in Lagos.
