As the only international art magazine of contemporary China published in both Chinese and English, LEAP has won a considerably high reputation worldwide through seven years of de- velopment and yearly participation in major art fairs around the globe including Art Basel and Frieze. To take a step further, we are extending LEAP's brand into a comprehensive plat- form of contemporary art. In addition to our online and print publications, we are also run- ning an art bookstore and an art space to hold exhibitions and public educational programs, which marks another leap for LEAP.In meanwhile, in the October of 2017, LEAP launched its rst edition as a seasonal maga- zine. Each issue, with a hefty 300 pages of commissioned content released during the fall and spring art seasons respectively, will be made up of portraits of six creative personalities, from artists and curators to dealers and collectors, which include conversations, critical es- says, photography, and lifestyle pieces that will be more comprehensive than ever before. Additionally, a special package focusing on the most relevant issue in current art world with multiple critical essays will o er a virtual space for discussion and circulation of ideas.Moreover, to meet the demands of a growing digital readership, and deliver our takes on contemporary art and culture in a timelier and e ective manner, LEAP is launching a new website, to provide readers with rsthand materials with both depth and sharpness. Our ex- hibition reviews and short reports will move online, where they will be joined by media-rich conversations with artists and art world players, regular reviews of artist books, and focused analysis from the emerging elds of artistic crossovers and collaborations.
