Learning Collider, a Global Research Lab, drives equity through technological innovation. We work with public and private partners to design technology platforms for social good and for the ongoing research required to maintain and improve such impact. Using high-dimensional, real-time data from dashboards, technological communication, algorithms, and other tech platforms managed by our partners, we are able to respond quickly to findings -- avoiding the common time lapse between data generation & collection and policy. In current and previous research collaborations, we've worked through districts and state agencies to fill critical holes in the quality of administrative data and access to it. We've partnered with learning platforms collecting extensive data on student outcomes and behavior, seeking for ways to best use that data to improve outcomes. We've also worked with private employers to redesign automated hiring technology to be more inclusive. Our innovations are low-cost and highly scalable. Our partners benefit from practices typical for consumer internet companies, but often out of reach of lower-budget entities, like agile development, big data collection, A/B testing, and AI-based assistance.
