Learning Disabilities Clinic (LDC) was founded in 1967 by its owner and director, Lynne Master, M.Ed. Its original purpose was to diagnose and treat the wide range of learning disorders. Since then LDC has expanded its expertise to include educational opportunities for all child, high school, and adult education. Master level and Ph.D. teachers accommodate students of all learning disabilities in a one-to-one setting. In addition, LDC provides numerous programs to schools to enrich and develop their students. These include Title I and Title II programs, Special Education contracting, ACT test preparation, remediation and acceleration programs, course credit recovery, summer programs and more. The excellent reputation for achieving consistently successful results has earned LDC the respect of the medical community, corporations, unions, the courts, school districts, and the State of Michigan Department of Education, Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Department of Human Services, and DHS Adoption Medical Subsidy, all of whom regularly refer consumers to the clinic.
