We develop and deliver diagnostic, formative, embeddable, low-stakes standardized assessments of core skills and concepts. Our mission is to support educators and students by offering a new approach to assessment, one that prioritizes educator and student learning without sacrificing good measurement. Every assessment is a learning event, asking learners to use their writing, reasoning, and argumentation skills to address problems in relevant real-world contexts. Every assessment also is accompanied by richly diagnostic feedback as well as learning resources and suggestions for both learners and educators. And every assessment is calibrated to the same theoretically and psychometrically validated "common core" metric, which makes it easy to compare learning progress across knowledge areas. All of our assessments and reports are delivered online in secure sessions.
