Lee Antimicrobial Solutions LLC ("LAMS") was founded to bring Dilute Hydrogen Peroxide ("DHP") technology to market. The U.S. patent for DHP, invented by a West Point graduate following his experience in assisting corporations affected by the 2001 anthrax attacks, was issued on May 1st, 2012 (U.S. patent #8,168,122). Lams is now working to commercialize this groundbreaking technology which can be used continuously in occupied spaces to kill viruses, bacteria, and mold in the air and on surfaces. DHP makes new microbial control strategies possible. It can be used continuously in hospitals, clinics, doctor's offices and senior centers to control contaminating bacteria that cause lethal infections and drive up the cost of healthcare by over $30 billion in the U.S. annually. DHP can also be used to provide continuous disinfection in homes and hotel rooms, and property management companies can greatly reduce their operating costs by using DHP to prevent mold growth. Secondary applications for DHP technology include food safety, aircraft, schools, bio-defense, business continuity, and continuity of government. DHP technology is inexpensive, highly scalable, and can be deployed in ventilation systems, in overhead lighting, or as stand-alone devices. DHP is created from humidity and oxygen already present in the air, so it is logistically simple to use.
