A society at the University of Leeds. Students meet up to debate and discuss important international issues from the perspectives of United Nations members states. Our weekly sessions blend persuasive public speaking with small group negotiations. This exciting form of debate is quickly growing in popularity both nationally and internationally, and is increasingly recognised as a valuable extracurricular activity by many employers. Some society alumni have even gone on to work at the United Nations itself.
