Higher Education - Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, United States
Our department offers Lehigh students the undergraduate major and minor, the M.A., and the Ph.D.; undergraduate and graduate concentrations in public history; and a graduate certificate and minor in documentary film-making. Small class sizes and the opportunity for individualized instruction allow students to establish important professional relationships with a distinguished research faculty. Together, we study the human experience over time in a fresh and diverse array of topics, including modern masculinity in American sports, religious conflict in the European Enlightenment, Jewish and Nazi ideologies of the twentieth century, North American colonial religion, politics of Latin America and the Spanish world, the making of the African Diaspora, and the ages of technology and medicine.
