Computer Software - Leipzig, Sachsen, Germany
The engineering consultancy Load and Energy Management (LEM) was set up in 1997 as a spin-off from the then Technical College, Leipzig. Even back in those days at the college we started to develop software products for a deregulated energy market. LEM supports energy suppliers and industrial companies which wish to use electricity, gas, heat or water efficiently, and also wish to make purchases cost-effectively. With our products you can create energy demand forecasts, which act as a base for energy trading or for the structuring of purchasing and sales contracts. Additionally, we provide software for energy data management, time-series management, portfolio management, price forecast, risk management, cost-coverage and contract calculation functions. Companies thus have access to a tool which supports everything from the planning of load demand and purchasing on the deregulated energy market, to making a risk assessment of the planned trades. Via a multitude of online and offline interfaces the LEM system can easily be integrated into existing IT landscapes.
