Leo Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Science is an Omega Leo club that belongs to the Leo District 306A1. Under the guidance of the parent club; Lions Club of Wellawatte, Leo advisor; Lion Chiman Amalean and the Senior treasurer/faculty advisor; Dr. Ayomi Witharana, it executes with the members across all faculties of the University of Colombo. Sipsara; which is a seminar series based on the O/L and A/L syllabus, Spandana; eye donation campaign, Ankura; tree planting project, Pure Coastal; Beach clean-up project, Cascade; waterfall cleaning project, and Not-One-Less; Women empowerment project are some of the key projects which had been done by the club within the last year. The club has a sole aim to engender the qualities among the youth community and to make them receptive to good social need.
