Our design team has been working with transit systems for over 15 years and is very well versed on the needs of the transit rider.Our company has experienced growth in all areas and has progressed from assisting one transit system to today where we are working in over 15 cities. We are working with a number of new clients and will be announcing the addition of new cities in the coming weeks.Transit Industry ExperienceWe have seen the industry progress from conventional hi-boy, manual transmission/steering buses to today with service focusing on accessibility for our aging population. Technology has also played a significant role in the day to day operations of transit systems with web-based customer information systems, new fare box equipment and fare collection systems, computer data collections systems, video surveillance systems and advertising as a major source of revenues for the transit authorities.Ridership has seen strong growth but in recent months has seen unprecedented growth with rising gas prices. Even with the rapid growth in the public acceptance of public transit the challenges that face the transit systems are high fuel prices, heavy passenger loads, employee recruitment and the ever present funding issues. These are very interesting times in the industry.
