Level Exchange is a content creation studio and publishing company dedicated to solving issues faced by local artists and content creators in small markets. Our first studio will be opening in Providence, RI the summer of 2017. In-house services include: demo recordings, video production, photography, and marketing services. The content is available at affordable prices that are virtually non-existent outside of the LX studio. The content creators we work with are among the best available in their communities. \\Our mission is to empower artists with the tools and services they need to succeed at every level of digital content creation and distribution in the music business.To create and build a home for passionate musicians and fans that celebrates diversity in genre, style and geography.\\Our goal is to build the entertainment infrastructure in Providence, RI and create a sustainable enterprise for the arts. \\The music industry in America as a whole is worth billions of dollars per year, and Providence, RI is a creativity-rich city and a limitless source of talent in a major Northeast corridor. When national artists travel from NYC to BOS, they can easily stop in PVD. We can show through hard numbers that music fandom has gone digital - decline in live music ticket sales, decline in physical ticket sales, decline in revenues made from touring. Touring is losing its viability because live music isn't economically feasible in smaller markets. Concert tickets can still be sold in the top ten major markets in the US at a scale that supports performances in those markets, but revenue streams and consumer connection everywhere else in the US are nearly all digital. Social media, Spotify, and YouTube are the outlets with the greatest impact on artist careers.
