LGHM includes the hospital, outpatient surgery centers, diagnostic centers, and hospital-sponsored practices.Graduate Medical Education is responsible for all resident education sponsored by this institution. Residency programs sponsored at our facility:- Family Medicine- Internal Medicine- Dermatology- Transitional Year- Sports Medicine (VCOM)- ONMM+1 (VCOM)Our medical training provides:- Working with well-trained, experienced clinical faculty- Interventional cardiology- Interventional radiology- Orthopaedic procedures from common sports injuries to total joint replacements- A hospitalist group that rounds on a variety of patients- Residents and interns are supported by a full range of clinical services, including nurses, phlebotomists, radiology technicians, case managers, social workers, allied health professionals, nutritionists, and pastoral care.- Patients are drawn from suburban and rural areas, so residents and interns are provided with experience in managing and caring for a wide variety of medical problems, ages, and demographic/social backgrounds.
