After moving to Atlanta and performing full time, Elexa fell into art as a form of creative outlet in between rehearsals. Friends and family members began asking to take a piece she created home, have her make a necklace with her sheet music, or customize a lyric on one of her canvases she decorated her studio and classrooms with.Lexicon of Love Art was born and her early years found her art featured at festivals and events in 2015 like the Avondale Estates Christmas Show, Georgia Tech Holiday Crafts Show MINT Gallery, Woodstock Art Market, Atlantic Station Evening Market, Pine Lake Festival, TahCha Tea House Craft Night, Chamblee Tucker Farmers Market, COTA for Kate Holiday Show, Christ the King Holiday Market and Garage Door Studio's Artorama.Elexa's art style continued to blossom through her popular canvas paintings of collaged recycled sheet music with handwritten lyrics and quotes.Today she continues to be invited to the most distinguished arts festivals in her area. 2019 will mark her fourth year at the Dunwoody Arts Festival, Virginia Highlands Summerfest, Inman Park Festival, Decatur Holiday Marketplace, St. Pius Holiday Marketplace, Candler Park Festival and her third year at the Stone Mountain Yellow Daisy Festival.Elexa's art can be seen at Carere Music Store and Garage Door Studio in Atlanta and often in local restaurants and coffee shops including Park Grounds, SOS Tiki Bar, The Taproom, and San Francisco Coffee Shop.In 2019 she was showcased in New York City at BroadwayCon and her art was signed by many of the Tony award-winning artist that inspired the work. Her art broke into the Broadway scene and Elexa now works every week on commissions for Broadway fans and actors that are sent around the world through her online Etsy store.Lexicon of Love Music Art continues to blossom with multiple art assistants helping Elexa manage the orders and many more art festivals, NYC stores and Atlanta events.
