Through its activism, the podcast LGBTQ Stories shines light on the intimate lives of LGBTQ people from around the world.It's our belief, if we as a community can help instill compassion amongst the anti-LGBTQ community by helping them relate to our shared experiences, then over time we can assist these same people in finding reason not only to accept LGBTQ people as a community, but as human, just as they are themselves; and from there move forward into this world not divided but united.LGBTQ Stories narrows in on the LGBTQ community with the sole purpose of laying out opportunities for those non-excepting of the community to relate to, release judgment, and make any effort to better understand the community as a whole.The show documents the struggles, hardships, questions, joys, eye-openers and more, that many in the LGBTQ community have faced as they've revealed with the public, their families and most importantly themselves about their true identity, the decision to come out and what life is like today for them.At the core of LGBTQ Stories is the belief that the more society understands marginalized groups of people, the more society can identify with these groups, the more an understanding of the views, emotions, and beliefs become apparent, the closer we all become in being truly united.Do you have a story of hope, of perseverance, a story that you'd like to share with the world; please contact us via email at info@LGBTQStoriesPodcast.comIn the email please include your phone number and a brief, one or two paragraphs explaining your personal story.**If you are uncomfortable with sharing your story while using your name, you can certainly do it all anonymously!
