Libertad Power is developing new power generation facility being developed in northwest New Mexico to provide flexible, fully dispatachable electrical power to utility customers throughout the Southwest and California. Libertad's pioneering hydrogen power model sets a new standard for generators on the Western Grid as the region moves toward greater market integration, more intermittent renewable wind and solar resources, and deeper decarbonization throughout the economy.Libertad's location in San Juan County, New Mexico leverages extensive, existing transmission assets, industrial infrastructure and subsurface geology to reduce costs and lessen overall impacts.
