Life Oolong The Way is a Canadian lifestyle blog created to share my personal experiences, life lessons learned, and write about the many other things I love. I've always had a passion for health, fitness and wellness, but I wanted to broaden my niche to blog about other things that matter to me – these include personal development, food, travel, arts, crafts, and beauty.The blog name represents life's journey from past to present and is a play off the phrase "life along the way". The word "oolong" refers to the traditional Chinese tea which I grew up drinking at home and at family gatherings. It represents a known and familiar comfort that I tend to reach for when I want to feel grounded or in times where my soul needs some soothing.My goal with this blog is to share the things that I care about most. The things I learned in hindsight may spark something within you, at the right time you need it. I aim to motivate others and inspire those around me. Life Oolong The Way is a safe community, filled with collective support and a place to help foster self-love & self-discovery.About Jenn TaingI live in Ottawa, Canada – born and raised. I graduated with a Honours Bachelor in Health Sciences and Master's degree in Human Kinetics. My full-time gig is as a National Program Manager for a non-profit organization. I have several years of experience working in the non-profit sector within social services, program development and youth leadership.
