I had a big birthday earlier this year, not one ending in 0, but one that makes you think about life. I thought about how I might like to do something different, make a change, make a difference to people directly. I thought about my skills and experience: HR had developed my interviewing and listening skills, during a period in Operational Management I had become an engaging confident public speaker. More recently working with client feedback for funerals, I understood how important small details and bespoke services would provide comfort to families in the most difficult of times.Becoming an independent celebrant has been a fascinating and challenging journey. It is a deeply fulfilling and fascinating role.
