Lifeguard Ambulance Service was founded in 1990 by John and Deborah Roche as a small domestic and international provider of fixed-wing air ambulance services. In 1998, the company was expanded to include ground ambulance services. Since its humble beginnings, Lifeguard has grown exponentially to include more than 800 team members across six states.Lifeguard continually strives to deliver comfortable, comprehensive care to its patients while providing exceptional customer service by promoting a culture of creativity, innovation, and constant improvement. Since that time, Lifeguard has received full accreditation in multiple locations and will continue to pursue the industry gold standard until all of its operations are accredited.Lifeguard provides a full-service solution through E-911 operations, emergency and non-emergency transports, value-based healthcare partnerships, specialty ambulance program management, and system consulting.
