Life Is Art is a small gallery in the heart of Antwerp, aiming to create a platform for young and lesser-known artists. What we want is to grow together with our artists in order to bring more art and beauty into society. In this sense, we are not so much a commercial project as a social and cultural one. Moreover, we are dedicated to the interchange between art by ânormalâ artists and art by artists with a mental disability, and want to expose the relativity of this distinction by creating a contrast with or answer to both traditional galleries and alternative art platforms.
