Poverty serves as a massive obstacle to success, and often causes education to lose priority in the minds of our students. Without the necessary resources to become engaged and expand creativity, developmental suppression decreases the potential of future intellectuals. It is imperative that we continue to take steps towards convincing our students that they are capable of breaking the status quo and changing their lives, as well as the lives of future generations.
