Team Lift UP is project born from the fondness of a group of students from University of Padua. The team members are students of various engineering schools, mainly from Aerospace EngineeringThe goal is to win the Air Cargo Challenge, a competition that involves students from the best universities throughout Europe. Each team has to design, build and fly an RC aircraft which carries the most weight as quickly as possible. In addition to the aircraft's performance, design skills are also very important in order to win the competition. The team name plays on the combination of the words "Lift", the uplifting force of a fluid, and "UP", which is both the direction of the lift and the acronym of "University of Padova".
