Lift Up the Kids has been in the humble making for over 20 years.It's very simple. At Christmas EVERY child should have a gift from Santa, the one gift they asked for.In the cold harsh Chicago winters, every child should have a warm coat, boots, hat, gloves, thick cozy socks, nice clothes and school uniform.Sounds pretty reasonable?We thought so too. But many don't open a gift with their name on it or have cozy clothes that fit nicely.Too many live in shelters. Too many don't always have full tummies.We do what we can for the schools' kids and families of Englewood each holiday - usually around 250 children.The most in need? They're all in need!
