Our entrepreneurial private equity firm markets under Light Street Investments ("LSI") and Light Street Ventures ("LSV") (collectively, "Light Street"). Light Street targets both early-stage (high multiple, lower IRR) and late-stage, pre-IPO investment opportunities (lower multiple, higher IRR) across all sectors with a focus on an innovative technology or products and, in the last 5 years, has made dozens of investments. We pride ourselves on differentiating from larger funds solely focused on late-stage investments with a more predictable, but lower return profile with higher risk early-stage investments, with the potential for outsized returns ("homeruns"). Given our unique position in the market and the hands-on approach we take, we have access to deals we believe will provide our investors with only the highest quality investments after going through our rigorous diligence and vetting process on deals that we source. Light Street is now part of an elite group of buyers and has participated in deals alongside some of the most highly recognized and respected institutional investors in the world.
