Lights Down Low is an influential and primary fixture in the California nightlife and music scene. Steadily ramping up the talent and venue size for the past seven years, LDL is constantly providing an unparalleled party experience. Sourcing the very best artists from the bleeding edge of what's next, to globally renowned big names from all over. Founders and resident DJ's Corey Sizemore and Richie Panic both started in the basements and smaller venues with the best sound systems. Separately they each had a freaky following of subterranean party people who sought their music and parties out. Never afraid to mix genres, cultures, crews, and gender the two kept crossing paths until finally joining together for DJ/Promoter combo that cannot be beat. Known for their skills behind the decks the two tastemakers decided to keep developing the brand, the sound, the lights, the vision, and the party and the crowds have responded in kind. The venues kept growing (LDL consistently now sells out 1000 person venues in both LA and SF) but the vibe remains the same, a sweaty pounding basement where anything can, and usually does happen. Rotating between prime spots in SF and LA, the boys of LDL work around the clock towards locking in a great sound system, excellent vibes, and memorable acts to ensure unique nights that make us yearn for more when we wake up the next morning (or afternoon).
