We are a Helsinki based architectural and development consultancy. The existing building stock is the central asset of our urban environment. Transforming, adapting and renovating existing buildings and urban environments to the needs of a rapidly changing world is central to our collective existence in the immediate future.Based on this understanding our work emerges from a careful study of existing conditions, current trends and evolution of our daily life, its expression, needs and solutions. We focus on analysing, understanding, conceptualising and re-designing the existing urban landscape as well as individual buildings and internal spaces.LIIKE Architecture is committed to help re-develop the built resources and urban environments at hand, to help enable re-programming and new uses for existing and emerging demands and through strategies of preservation and re-use to help solve profound requirements of sustainability, increased opportunity and increasing quality of life.
