A fringe region of half shadow resulting from the partial obstruction of light by an opaque object.Once upon a time, there was a woman who dreamed of being a writer and filmmaker – so she went on a quest to make it happen.First, she studied for her Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and Literature/Writing at Columbia University. Then she got her Master of Fine Arts in Writing for the Screen + Stage at Northwestern University.She worked as Development Assistant for a producer in Los Angeles, and interned in acquisitions and production at companies like Focus Features and Darren Aronofsky's Protozoa Pictures.She spent time as Darren Lynn Bousman's Director's Assistant for Saw IV, and shadowed Richard J. Lewis on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.She even worked several years at festivals like the Toronto International Film Festival, to increase her network and watch great films.(You see, she knew it was important to study how The Industry worked before she tried to enter it herself.)And then came the best thing of all: LILIATH & PENUMBRA, with which she will most definitely forge her own "Happily Ever After."
