Lilov Fencing Academy (LFA) is one of New Jersey's oldest private fencing clubs. LFA was founded in Montclair, NJ in 1992. LFA is an official, member club of the United States Fencing Association, (USFA) and the USFA New Jersey Division. We are a serious, focused group of fencers. All of our fencers, at every level -from beginners to advanced, from young children through teens, to seniors, produce results. Stop by, bring your gear, or borrow some from the club until you get your own. Many our students are graduated or pursuing degrees at top National universities and are seriously involved as varsity fencing team members at collegiate and national levels. LFA invites anyone interested in learning to fence, (or wanting to practice) to visit our warm, friendly, and well established club. Membership is open to any interested and motivated person. We work hard and produce results! LFA hosts monthly fencing tournaments open to any fencer as well as official NJ Division Tournaments. Fencers must be members of the United States Fencing Association (USFA): sign up through the USFA web site. We believe that what we offer is different. Please visit and try us out. You will have an opportunity to tour our facility, meet our staff, have a few bouts with our fencers, and talk with our fencing parents.
