What is a doula? A doula is non-medical advocacy, education, and emotional support for individuals and families through major transitions in life. As an End of Life/Death Doula I offer assistance with end of life planning and holding space at the client's home and bedside through end of life vigils. I offer guidance and support in learning about and choosing the right end of life options for you and the members of your family. I support and hold space with grieving families through terminal diagnoses, final vigils and beyond.Full-Spectrum Doulas offer non-medical support to pregnancies outside of the commonly recognized realm of birth doulas: post-partum, abortion, miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, adoption, and more. My personal Full-Spectrum focus lies in abortion and miscarriage advocacy and support. I am well-versed in and have attended through both medical and surgical abortion procedures. All of my full-spectrum work is done on an unpaid and volunteer basis. In addition, I do volunteer time with a local abortion doula collective through my local clinic so I am able to be present with pregnant people through their visits and procedure. All of my advocacy and views are mine alone and should not be considered the views of any organizations I work with or volunteer through. EVERY pregnancy deserves a doula.
