Lines & James was established in 2000 when Patricia James and John Lines merged their individual Lettings Agencies and set-up in partnership. Nowadays it is run solely by Patricia and the company manages over 450 properties, all within Horsham and the surrounding areas.The Company ethos is and has always been one of first-rate service. The business is built, not on maximum short-term profit, but on an excellent reputation which has proven its value many times over as both old landlords & old tenants come back to us as their circumstances change. Most of our current properties have been signed-up with us due to recommendations from previous & existing customers. Lines & James does not seek to expand into new areas. Some may see that as a lack of ambition, but we don't. We are all Horsham born & bred and it is our aim to be the best Letting Agent in Horsham. We don't have shareholders or a regional board to set growth or profit targets. We are an independent Letting Agent whose sole ambition is to provide the best level of care a property could have and provide that with a Tenant who will look after it and make it their home. The company resides in a beautiful grade II listed building on Worthing Road just as you enter the centre of Horsham, opposite Horsham library. The office is always a hive of activity and is kept under control by Lines & James' fantastic staff that take customer service to the next level by going far further than the clichéd ‘extra mile'.The Lines & James ethos is "Good properties deserve good tenants & vice versa". To us this means that we will only sign-up good quality properties of all shapes & sizes and similarly we will only rent to tenants who are going to look after them well. We insist that Landlords present a property in perfect order, that way both we and the tenant know exactly how it should be handed back at the end of the tenancy.
