The Linsmore Hotel was established on December 7th, 1934, the same year the Province of Ontario started licencing saloons. As a hotel and tavern, the Linsmore Tavern flourished as one of the local pubs along the popular Danforth Ave for years!The ownership of the Linsmore changed in 1982. Those same owners remain to this day. It is now one of the last remaining original hotel/taverns in Toronto. There is a long history behind the Linsmore Tavern, and it seems like everyone has a story to tell about the place.With new management in place, the Linsmore Tavern has experienced a resurgence in popularity. With a pool table, multiple dart boards, 5 large screen television's, a state of the art jukebox, a fully licenced banquet room, a new bar with 10 drafts on tap, the Linsmore Tavern can accommodate a lot of your various needs. With live music 4 to 5 times a week, you are guaranteed to see an incredible live band Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings!
