Every year open source geeks from across the globe gather in Australia to meet their fellow technologists, share the latest ideas and innovations, and spend a week collaborating on free, open source software projects.A group of enthusiastic Canberrans are hosting linux.conf.au in January, 2013. This is Canberra's centenary year, making it a particularly significant year for the city. Canberra last hosted the conference in 2005. Eight years on, we are delighted that the conference is returning to Canberra. We have gathered a strongly motivated team to run the conference, and linux.conf.au 2013 will be a conference to remember.
