Corporate leaders lament that college graduates lack the soft skills to contribute to organizational success. Graduates are educated but many are not collaborative, able to lead, or equipped to solve real-world problems. Lion’s Heart matches teens to community service projects, helping students develop skills 21st Century Skills. We provide local volunteer opportunities and tracking tools, and digital portfolio to memorialize student’s top causes, awards, and leadership roles.There is no syllabus for service learning. Volunteering is spontaneous and unscripted. Students are exposed to societal challenges, then work together to improve their communities. Lion’s Heart teaches teens to collaborate with their peers and initiates community service projects. Soft skills allow students to realize the full value of their education. Lion’s Heart is marketed to consumers (parents). We aspire to extend our platform into classrooms, supporting service learning for millions of students.
