Lippman Kanfer Family Foundation is a family foundation dedicated to building a multi-generational family culture of tzedakah (philanthropy) and to supporting the vitality of Jewish life where Kanfer family members live – in particular our hometown of Akron, Ohio. We achieve this by learning together about societal issues and making grants based on what we learn; currently our focus is poverty and hunger. We also support select projects that strengthen Jewish communities where family members live including Akron, Ohio; Cleveland, Ohio; Brooklyn, New York; and Chautauqua, New York.
