Liquid is a digital platform and website, which can be used on any device, to easily collect, analyze and collaborate over scientific data. Built specifically for the dynamic and collaborative nature of scientific research, Liquid eliminates the need for paper-based methods of data collection while significantly increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the scientific process. Regardless of scientific discipline, Liquid improves upon the scientific method, which is universal. Liquid provides a single tool for anyone to construct digital “forms” to gather data on smart phones and tablets, distribute the forms to many volunteers, citizen scientists or research assistants and aggregate the collected data into a cloud database. The cloud database allows for the construction of charts and figures accessible to every individual contributing data, providing early data visualization while still in the process of active data collection.
