Little Island is an award-winning independent publisher of quality fiction for children and young adults. Our mission is to publish and promote excellent books by new writers from the island of Ireland as well as publishing some books in translation from other languages. We take pride in bringing superb authors to young readers in Ireland, the UK and the US, and in producing our books to the highest design and printing standards. Our authors regularly participate in readings and festivals and we maintain mutually beneficial relationships with various partner organizations such as Children's Books Ireland, IBBY, The Arts Council and Dublin UNESCO City of Literature.
