LLK is a non-profit organization with the main initiative to finance the education of children in Kenya who would hardly have the chance to go to school at all. Our motto is: Education is the key to the future. We not only provide school fees, uniforms, books and supplies to nearly 500 children - we also provide health care, daily meals, free time activities and guidance and vocational consulting through a trained social worker. Parents and guardians are part of the program and volunteer to help at all activities.Everyone at LLK - except for the paid staff of 6 in Kenya - work on a voluntary basis.HIV/AIDS and Hygiene Awareness workshops are given at least twice the year by trained counselors and medical personnel.
