From a very early age, Laura Doughty was strongly influenced by her entrepreneurial parents. Being the oldest child, she wasted no time demonstrating her fierce sense of independence early on. She knew she was destined to live life on her terms, to pursue her calling and follow her passions. For Laura, excellence is a word that she feels defines her existence. It's what motivates her to do more, give more, be more and hope for more. Not that she's not grateful for the here and now, that in and of itself is being excellent. She feels it is her duty to strive for more . . . more of herself, more in others, more in humanity.For Laura, there are three fundamentals to excellence and they incorporate our body, mind and spirit. Living excellence requires a discipline to living a healthy life – our body. Taking care of the vessel we were given to do the work that only we can do on this earth is not an option; it's a duty. When it comes to business – our mind, service excellence is the defining difference between a client and a customer. Having a servants heart is at the core of service excellence and it's what drives Laura when working with others. She understands it not only takes money to make the world go around, it takes heart – our spirit. When we ignore our calling or have not discovered our purpose, our lives become stagnant and emotionally painful. We are meant to thrive and live a life full of passion.
