Lives Lived Well (LLW) is a leading Queensland and regional New South Wales support organisation for people who have problems with alcohol and other drugs as well as other addictions such as gambling and associated mental health issues.Our friendly and expert team sees more than 10,000 people each year across 27 locations. We're a non-government, not-for-profit body that provides a range of free services aimed at influencing behaviour, reducing harm, aiding recovery and bringing about positive change. LLW was established in May 2012, following the merger of the Alcohol and Drug Foundation Queensland, Gold Coast Drug Council and the Queensland Drug and Alcohol Council.Our services include five low-cost, residential treatment facilities, located at Logan House – Brisbane (QLD), Mirikai – Gold Coast (QLD), Shanty Creek – Mareeba (QLD), and Wyla and Elouera - Orange (NSW), where people can come and stay and work through a comprehensive program within a supportive therapeutic community environment.We also provide free alcohol and other drugs counselling, specifically tailored for individuals, families, groups, young people and Indigenous peoples. Other services include community and youth outreach, drink and drug driving programs, drug diversion, support groups.
