Living Heritage Farms is a family farm located in Eastern Washington. We produce nutritious agricultural products.The name of "Living Heritage Farm" is intended to convey some core principles that we stand for. The living aspect comes from the idea that our products will be fresh. We also hope to make our rich agricultural heritage come alive by using breeds, equipment, and techniques from the past. Our farm will grow heritage (heirloom) small grains (wheat, emmer, oats, and barley - etc...) using farm practices that are pre-commercial/industrial (green revolution) techniques. One could call the techniques organic, but we seek to take a step beyond organic. We call it holistic because it isn't just about growing a single food product. The goal is a complete agriculture system.There are four principles we stand on are:1. Reconnect2. Rediscover3. Regenerate4. For a Reason
