In addition to single varieties of bottled ales sold by the case there is an on-going effort to make innovative and unique pre-mixed cases for customers' discovery and enjoyment, such as, 'Bitter This, Bitter That' a variety of ordinary strength bitters from various brewers, or 'Summer Ales' which are pale, golden, wheat and lager beers that are perfect for warm weather and al fresco drinking. Another popular mix is the 'Brewery Mixed Case' where customers can taste the whole breadth of beers from a particular Brewery. The website provides an introduction to the brewery, the brewer, interesting facts about the beers as well as tasting notes. Customer input is welcome and is used to add to the interactive nature of tasting and discussing beer. The other innovation to help support brewers is to provide a free 'mail order' service by way of a link from their website to their own page on livingbeer.com. This means brewers can concentrate on brewing and livingbeer.com can concentrate on mail order.
