The Livonia Jaycees (Livonia Junior Chamber) is a leadership program designed for emerging leaders ages 21 to 40. The concept of the Livonia Junior Chamber which was established in 1953 has been to recruit, retain, and build talent in the Livonia Community.Our Mission is: "to support, cultivate, and attract emerging leaders, ages 21 to 40, by providing access to training and leadership opportunities in an effort to make an impact in the Livonia community."The Jaycees focus on three main segments: the Community, the Individual, and Management development. We provide personal and professional development opportunities. We cultivate awareness and involvement among emerging leaders on issues and policies affecting our communities. We create unique opportunities for young leaders to network and interact at a variety of cultural, arts, social, and sporting events throughout the area. We connect, promote, and expose Jaycee Members to community service groups and community events or activities. The Livonia Jaycees will:• Cultivate and build Livonia's Future Leaders,• Foster Social Community, Civic Intent, and Active Participation,• Empower emerging young leaders (ages 21-40),• Assist in the recruiting and retaining of young talent in the communityThrough the years, the Livonia Jaycees have produced a number of influential figures in the government arena, including Members of Congress, State Representatives, State Senators, and Livonia City Council Members.
