LKO enables individuals and professionals to freely search or browse eBook collections previously buried in the Deep Web and, for the first time, have the option of subscribing to these collections. What is "local knowledge"? When "locals" have knowledge that is of interest and value to others, it is referred to as "local knowledge". However, this knowledge is not always shared or freely accessible, either because it's simply a part of their "community", or because it provides them with an advantage.
