Local Marketplace LLC is Karen Jobe and Stacy Lea, a mother-daughter team. We work to promote the sales of local businesses, crafters and artists, including crafts and products of our own. We are currently planning the 2nd Indie Trunk Show which will take place December 6th, 2014. This is a unique event that combines handmade vendors with vintage resellers, junk repurposers, and a variety of small businesses. Our first Indie Trunk Show was a success, with over 75 local vendors and 2,100 shoppers! We also run www.localmarketplacemetro.com, a website where you can find local vendors to buy from! This fall we will be hosting a workshop for local makers!
