Locke Tea LLC was a startup founded in August of 2017. The company was founded to provide organic, sleep aid beverages for those dealing with restlessness at bed time. Originally targeting college students during finals, the business model adopted to showcase sales at farmer's markets. With research ensuing upon product completion, the businesses began to target women in the 30-50 year old range. The company was shut down in 2018 as the founder moved on to new industries. Upon entering Baylor's New Venture Competition, The Locke Tea LLC was awarded as one of the Top 50 Companies. Baylor University's New Venture Competition is a nationwide competition with over 150 schools competing.
