Locloc is the first italian peer-to-peer renting site. A virtual market place where people can rent anything he/she owns to anyone.Subscription is free and easy: individuals as well as professionals can create a personal profile on Locloc.it or enter into the platform using Facebook account. Once registered on the website you can add any object you own for rental purposes. You define the price (for a day, a week or a month), the place where you are, the description and some photos. A price guide is available to assist the user to evaluate the rental price of his goods.Locloc issues a rental agreement that the user can see directly with the renter. The contract includes an insurance policy that can cover the object from damage till 990 euro. Locloc provides a credit card payment system and withholds 20% of the total amount to sustain the business.Locloc, as well as other standard market places do, created a reputation system to filter power-owners and renters and to optimize the mechanism: anyone con express an opinion both on the person and both on the object he/she rented. The service already includes a lot of categories of objects ( cloths, accessories, tools, bikes, kids inventory, home furniture but also apartments and vehicles) but is still growing.
