We are a small organisation in London which tries to connect the Arab world to the United Kingdom. We organise two main initiatives, the London Arabia Art & Fashion Week and the Arab Women of the Year Awards. We hope these initiatives will help both regions to come to understand each other and each other's cultures better. The Arab Women of the Year Awards have been held annually since 2015. Each year they have grown in prestige and we are fortunate enough to now be considered one of the most authentic Awards held for the excellence of Arab women. Arab Women of the year Awards: www.londonarabia.com/eventsWe have organised the London Arabia Art & Fashion Week since 2016 and it has always included a diverse fashion show highlighting authentic designs from the Arab world by female Arab designers. The event has steadily grown over the past few years, in August last year the fashion show and art exhibition were held at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower. For the first time the event also collaborated with Harvey Nichols for the London Arabia Pop-Up Shop, this was held at Harvey Nichols for two weeks showcasing eight female Arab fashion designers.
