Government Administration - , England, United Kingdom
Established in 1917 as the London Safety First Council, today the London Road Safety Council exists to support officers and elected members from the 33 London local authorities and other road safety partners in a shared goal of reducing road casualties across Greater London. We do this by running public facing campaigns on behalf of our member authorities, and deliver professional training to elected members with a road safety portfolio as well as to professionals with a road safety remit. Our members meet quarterly to share information on developing initiatives and emerging trends, thus serving as a necessary network for the road safety community. We run conferences and seminars as well as monthly information sessions for our members.
